One program I use is my Value Program © - 5 steps to point you toward a rewarding career or business path. With the Value Program © you will:

  • "See" exactly what you want to create in detail whether it is a business, a new career or a new job.
  • Match your skills, talents, and values to your new business, career or job.
  • Uncover and attract people who will give you endorsements, testimonials, and referrals for your business, career or job.
  • Develop and execute a dynamic plan of action
  • Find the key differentiators that separate you from others who do similar work.

One outcome of the Value Program can be a written business or career plan.

  • Business Plan - You will develop a plan that may be for your own use or it may be the document you give to the bank, investors, the insurance company, staff and vendors. This will enable you to put on paper your ideas, your market research results, and your financial projections. The plan allows you to convince yourself of the viability of your idea before you invest any of your money in the business. You will also have a useful document from which to manage your business.
  • Career Plan - Use the vision you have of an ideal job to create a time line with all the elements needed to reach your career goal. This would include items such as identification of new skills needed, the training schedule, interviews with people currently doing the kind of work you are looking for, research into the future outlook for your ideal job, and ideas for methods and locations to practice your new skills in your current job.

Another outcome of the Value Program© can be your own value statement or proposition which will be worked into an "elevator speech" that details what you offer others. Whether you are marketing yourself for a new job or marketing the product or service of the business or practice you own, you will need to tell others what you offer that is different from what your competition is offering. The Value Program© steps you through this process.
