Motherhood forces change in Career Plan
Belinda
Wasser had been a Director in the Information Technology department
of a company near Boston. After having a baby she felt a real desire
to be more available to her baby than a full time job would allow.
Her solution was to create an online business that she could work
at from home. With a daughter under a year old and a fledgling business,
Belinda felt overwhelmed and exhausted. In our coaching sessions
she learned to prioritize her work and to take time to enjoy her
life. Both her business and her daughter thrived. Belinda speaks
of the satisfaction she gets from her work in the June issue of
Parenting magazine she says,
"I also hired a coach to help me through the early stages
of the venture. My problem has always been I try to do too much.
She recognized that I was a nursing mother who was trying to run
a business, and her pacing advice was very valuable to me - because
obviously, I could no longer judge my stamina according to the
standards of my prebaby life."
Belinda's website is www.blueberrybabies.com
where you can find wonderful gifts for babies from birth to a year.
